Bookkeeping and payroll services are only provided to tax preparation customers no exceptions.

While we feel it is best for customers to understand the basics of book keeping we provide full service book keeping. This can be done on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.

Per month is the standard minimum. Those that need a very limited service can be reduced to an hourly rate.

Payroll, per employee and a flat processing fee per pay period is charged. $10.00 weekly, $18.00 Bi weekly or Bi monthly and $30.00 monthly. Fees include all reports required throughout the year as well the basic payroll audit by workmen’s compensation. About every three years there is an in depth audit and the cost runs about $100.00. There is a $5.00 per W2 fee at the end of the year and a $5.00 employee set up fee, so keeping turn over low is in your best interest.

Due to both Maine law and liability issues we do not write any checks, we provide you with “check stubs.” You are always in control of your own funds and must make sure to safe money aside for payroll taxes.
